Choose the sample your project needs.
Sample support covers all four product lines. A formulation sample is used to assess the product itself; packaging and complete branded samples allow you to review the corresponding packaging details.
- Existing product samples
- Experience an available product and assess its characteristics as a starting point.
- Custom product samples
- Evaluate a formulation or product specification developed or adjusted around your brief.
- Packaging samples
- Review components, structure, color or printing as relevant to your packaging project.
- Complete branded samples
- Evaluate the product together with packaging carrying your brand. Custom packaging costs are assessed separately.
Sample costs and preparation time.
Sample preparation typically takes around one week. Timing is assessed for each project according to the formulation requirements, sample type and project circumstances. Shipping time is additional.
The three-round free formulation policy applies to toothpaste and mouthwash. Samples for other product types can also be provided; discuss their arrangements with the team.
- Three free formulation rounds
- Toothpaste and mouthwash projects receive three free formulation sample-making rounds per project. The first round counts toward the three.
- Additional rounds
- Formulation sample-making beyond three rounds is negotiated separately for the project.
- Shipping
- Sample shipping costs are paid by the customer.
- Custom packaging
- Custom packaging is excluded from free formulation sample-making. Print samples and tooling are assessed and negotiated separately.
From requirements to sample confirmation.
- 01 / Requirements and initial quotation
- You provide the product, market, formula, capacity, packaging and quantity requirements. Airsun assesses the brief and provides an initial quotation before sample development.
- 02 / Define the sample
- We develop the agreed samples and coordinate packaging details. Identify the product and sample type, the characteristics you need to evaluate, and any reference materials and delivery details.
- 03 / Review and give feedback
- Assess the sample against the agreed requirements and identify the changes you would like evaluated for the next round.
- 04 / Confirm in writing and retain the approved sample
- You review and approve the sample and specifications before final pricing. Sample approval is documented through email and a sample confirmation form. Airsun keeps the confirmed sample as a reference for subsequent production checks.
Final quotation, production and delivery.
- 05 / Final quotation and order confirmation
- After the sample, packaging and specifications are approved, Airsun confirms final pricing. You confirm the pro forma invoice (PI) and pay the deposit before purchasing and production arrangements begin.
- 06 / Purchasing and production
- Airsun arranges packaging procurement and production against the confirmed order. The production lead-time clock starts when the deposit is received.
- 07 / Inspection and delivery
- Customers may arrange an inspection after production is complete. Balance payment, other payment terms and delivery are handled according to the project agreement.

Reference minimum production lead times
Production lead time is counted from receipt of the deposit, following confirmation of the sample, packaging, specifications and PI. These are category references; confirm the schedule for your project. Earlier development and sampling, and shipment transit, are separate from production time.
